TRIAL CONSULTANT POSITION

Dispute Dynamics, Inc. (DDI) is a nationally renowned trial consulting firm with offices in Los Angeles, CA and Philadelphia, PA. We are primarily involved in complex commercial litigation, although we also handle criminal matters. Examples of the types of cases we work on include antitrust, contract, employment, intellectual property, professional malpractice, securities, and toxic tort. Our client services include pre-trial jury research, jury selection, witness preparation, general consulting, trial monitoring, and post-trial interviews. We employ both quantitative and qualitative measures in our research. Our work has taken us to over 40 states and Puerto Rico. DDI is seeking to hire a trial consultant in its Los Angeles, California office. The trial consultant position would primarily involve reviewing case documents, helping to design pre-trial jury research, writing questionnaires for use in the research, conducting research, analyzing the results, and reporting the results to our clients. Our consultants are trained to interview jurors after trials, prepare witnesses and select juries, and will be very involved in those activities as well as in research. We also encourage our consultants to engage in independent research and writing. The position offers many opportunities for growth and advancement.

Applicants for the trial consultant position must have a Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field, and be willing to travel. Strong quantitative research and statistical skills are necessary, and experience with qualitative research is a plus. Leadership and public speaking skills are also very important. Our consultants must be able to work on a team, communicate effectively, and function efficiently. Experience is not necessary.
